After contacting the HD company and getting no viable response, I contacted QNAP and after some email exchange they called me and informed me that the PRO version of the hard drives were not supported or recommended by QNAP.

Sounded like bongo drums to the point my wife asked me to send it back. I ran into a major noise issue with the high end "PRO" Hard Drives I installed. I knock off one star for not being easy to use. Some of the software requires considerable expertise to configure and may still be in Beta.
